James Maposa
James founded Birguid in 2015. His vision was to create an advisory firm that delivered research and strategy that were easy to understand, roll out and over time deliver impeccable results. Strategic simplicity aided by actionable insights were words that echoed in his mind as he engaged potential clients and built Birguid. The results have been encouraging and he looks forward to the future with enthusiasm.
Prior to founding Birguid, James worked in the management consulting sector in the fields of strategic research, and business, brand and customer strategy development, rollout, and evaluation.
Fortune Ngwenya
Fortune is our resident finance guru who has been exposed to various industries, both large and entrepreneurial ventures, gaining a sound understanding of the sub-continent’s manufacturing, distribution, financial services, not-for-profit, travel and tourism, research, and attorney trust industries. This experience is referred to, to provide meaningful and lasting financial advice both internally and for our partners.
Patience Panashe
Patience is highly skilled in research, policy, investments, and business strategy. Through Birguid, Patience has developed an advanced proficiency in the following industries; trade, infrastructure, transport and logistics, energy, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, and tourism.
Prior to joining Birguid Patience, gained her experience through roles in the areas of law, research, and management consulting.
Charmaine Rambire
Charmaine is enthusiastic about research, data analysis and financial modelling. Through Birguid, she has carried out research across various sectors including healthcare, microfinance, trade, and infrastructure.
Prior to joining Birguid, she was a student at the University of Stellenbosch majoring in Actuarial Science.
Cynthia Dulira
Cynthia joined Birguid in 2022 as an analyst. She is enthusiastic about monetary policies, business development, financial planning, research, and poverty-relief strategies. At Birguid, she collaborates with members of the research team on project development and the creation of insightful strategic presentations that address client needs. Prior to joining Birguid, she was a graduate student at the University of Johannesburg and worked as a student graduate assistant at the university.
